It is with great humility, pride, and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the role of Chairman of the Ahilyanagar Branch of WIRC of ICAI. I sincerely thank all members for their trust, encouragement, and continued support. As we step into a new professional year, we do so with renewed enthusiasm under the theme“Navdrishti” – A New Perspective, A Renewed Vision.

The Ahilyanagar Branch stands as a fine example of strong leadership, committed members, and a well-established infrastructure. Our branch building itself is a symbol of foresight and excellence. This year, our focus will be on maximising the effective utilisation of existing facilities to create greater value for members, students, and society.

Guided by the spirit of Navdrishti, the key focus areas for the year are as under:

1.Optimal Utilisation of Branch Infrastructure Our branch building is a perfect example of thoughtful planning and execution. We aim to further enhance its usage by hosting more professional programs, interactive sessions, study circles, and collaborative activities, making it a vibrant hub for continuous learning and professional interaction.

2.IT Lab & Technology-Driven Learning In an era of rapid technological transformation, the role of technology in the CA profession is paramount. We will focus on effective use of our IT Lab to conduct hands-on training programs in areas such as AI tools, data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies for both members and students.

3.Empowering Young Members Young Chartered Accountants are the future torchbearers of the profession. This year, we will consciously involve young members by providing platforms for leadership, learning, and knowledge sharing, including opportunities as speakers, coordinators, and contributors to branch initiatives.

4.Industry-Based Approach & Professional Connect With a growing base of members working in industry, the branch will strengthen its industry-oriented approach through focused programs, experience-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities. We also aim to act as a bridge between industry and practice, creating meaningful exposure and opportunities for CA students.

5.Focus on CA Students Students are the foundation of our profession. The branch will continue to organise academic support programs, mock tests, mentoring sessions, and motivational interactions to support students in their academic journey as well as overall professional development.

6. Social Responsibility & Community Engagement True professional success is incomplete without giving back to society. The Ahilyanagar Branch will actively participate in social responsibility initiatives, financial literacy programs, and community welfare activities, reaffirming our commitment towards societal development and nation-building.

The theme “Navdrishti” represents our collective resolve to adopt fresh thinking, inclusive participation, and purposeful action. I earnestly invite all members to actively participate, share ideas, and contribute towards strengthening our branch and the profession.
